Woo! I totally agree with you, and I really think people pick up on that. People can smell bullshit and trying too hard from a mile off, but when someone comes along who is genuine and true to themselves, people do pay attention. Plus, if you’re playing for your own enjoyment, it means you are guaranteed to enjoy at every gig, however dubious.

I’ve been reading a book recently called ‘The Musician’s Way’ by Gerald Klickstein – I recommend it. (And also, yay to tomato plants, although my tomatoes seem to have stopped at the ‘tiny and green’ stage :()

Thanks so much for you’re kind words. I do have an album which is available from most on line stores such as HMV and AMAZON and also on itunes. You should also be able to find it in some high street stores. It’s called ‘Birds that fly and other things’. However this is not a new album and was released last year. I am currently working on a new album which I hope to release soon. If you sign up here at my website I’ll keep you up to date.

Heard you for the first time with my husband and daughter as the support for Jules Holland on Tuesday evening @ Kew, 6/7/10. You spoke about your new album – can you please tell me the name of this again and also if it is available now as I would like to buy it asap!
I am 58 years old and have heard some really great musicians over the years; you have a wonderful talent that will eventually take you to ‘high’ places Kris – you are maturing like a “fine wine” and I look forward to watching your success over this next season.
